NEW: Girard-Perregaux Laureato 38mm Copper Diamond Bezel

A new diamond-embellished iteration is the latest instalment of a highly successful run for the range

With this model’s dynamic appearance, the Swiss luxury manufacture leaves no doubt as to who is the true master of light, tonal shades and shapes.

For starters, the copper-hued dial, housed in a 38mm steel case, is adorned with Clous de Paris that makes it appear almost three-dimensional. Depending on the light source and angle, the dial fascinates with its multifarious shades ranging from ochre to burnt oak.

The classic pyramidal motif serves as the backdrop for luminescent baton-type hour and minute hands, along with matching indexes. Meanwhile, the golden central seconds hand mirrors the GP logo at 12 o’clock. An aperture, positioned beside the crown, presents the date in white text, set atop a copper-toned disc.

Each Laureato has an instantly recognisable profile comprising an octagonal bezel that sits atop a circular plinth, which in turn is positioned above an angular tonneau-shaped case.

In this edition, the interplay between polished and satin-finished surfaces is further enhanced by the addition of diamonds framing the dial. This brilliantly complements the polished central links of the integrated bracelet that ergonomically hugs the wrist.

The slender case, measuring a mere 10.02mm in height, is equipped with a self-winding movement. Visible via a see-through caseback, the Calibre GP03300 has a power reserve of at least 46 hours and boasts refined details that include circular graining, bevelling, mirror-polishing and snailing, as well as a variety of finishes and engravings.
