NEW: Breguet Reine de Naples in mint green
An inspired colour choice embodying the forward-thinking optimism of spring
After more conventional pink, grey and white iterations, the Reine de Naples collection enters its next evolutionary cycle clad in a new ‘wardrobe’ of softer, more trendy colours, starting with the most refreshing hue of all: mint green.
The dial of this release, in white mother-of-pearl, features a sparkling chapter ring crafted using the snow-setting technique. It encircles a refined black minutes-track adorned with symbols inspired by the pocket watches developed by Abraham-Louis Breguet over two centuries ago.

Other highlights to look out for include the iconic Breguet open-tipped hands for the hours and minutes and the Arabic numerals with a two-dimensional appearance thanks to a dual-layering shading technique.
The more eagle-eyed among you might also notice the watch’s unique number, guaranteeing its authenticity, that appears between 11 and 12 o’clock. This numbering tradition dates to Breguet’s early years and means each timepiece can be traced throughout its existence.

As for diamonds, there are many (because, as we all know, Marilyn sang it right).
The exquisite pear-shaped diamond at six o’clock is hard to miss. But not to be outdone are the 117 diamonds adorning the inner flange and bezel, and the crown topped with a briolette-cut diamond. Even the alligator leather strap is fastened by a folding clasp adorned with 28 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Within the iconic ovoid case measuring 36.5 x 28.45mm is the 191-component 537/3 self-winding movement with a 45-hour power reserve that is equipped with a balance spring and an in-line Swiss lever escapement made of silicon.
The sapphire-crystal back of the white gold case reveals the platinum weight, as well as the Côtes de Genève decoration, polished screws and chamfering on the movement. Naturally, all calibre components are carefully handcrafted in the Breguet tradition, whether visible or concealed from view for no detail is too small for this Swiss watchmaker par excellence.
