NEW: Piaget Altiplano Skeleton High Jewellery Metiers d'Art
Gorgeous is as gorgeous does
When it comes to blending haute joaillerie with fine watchmaking, Piaget never misses a beat. Its latest release, the Altiplano Skeleton High Jewellery Métiers d’Art, is a dazzling showcase of artistry, craftsmanship, and innovation, sure to make watch collectors swoon.
This limited edition—just eight pieces—unites two icons of Maison Piaget: the gem-set skeleton movement and the centuries-old art of Grand Feu cloisonné enamel, brought to life by celebrated enamel artist Anita Porchet.

The skeleton movement, Piaget’s signature ultra-thin calibre 1201D1, is an engineering marvel, adorned with diamonds and sapphires. Every curve glistens, thanks to meticulous gem-setting that feels more like sculpture than assembly.
Porchet’s expertise takes centre stage in this edition, with a hypnotic palette of blue, green, and purple enamel that flows seamlessly across the 40mm dial—and for the first time, extends to the back. The result? A mesmerising gradient that mirrors the baguette-cut stones around the bezel.

Despite the opulence, the case stays true to Piaget’s legacy of slender elegance, measuring a mere 7mm in thickness. This perfect blend of skeleton watchmaking, gem-setting, and enamelling exemplifies Georges-Édouard Piaget’s motto: “Always do better than necessary.”
Piaget’s journey, from its 1874 origins in La Côte-aux-Fées to this pinnacle of craftsmanship, is one of relentless creativity. Originally specialising in ultra-thin movements, the Maison redefined luxury in the 1960s by fusing horology with bold jewellery design. Today, the Altiplano Skeleton High Jewellery Métiers d’Art continues that legacy, showcasing Piaget’s commitment to artistry and technical brilliance.
