NEW: Omega Seamaster Diver 300M ‘Paris 2024’ Special Edition
As the clock ticks down to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 next July, the Swiss watchmaker goes for gold with a very special release
The Olympic Games Paris 2024 will begin on July 26, 2024. For Omega, it will also represent the 31st outing as the competition’s official timekeeper, a role that it has played since 1932. To start the countdown, the Swiss watchmaker is offering a special edition of the Seamaster Diver 300M crafted with a golden touch, as a reminder of the coveted medals that every participating athlete strives for.

The 42mm timepiece, equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800, is made of stainless steel and 18K Moonshine Gold—Omega’s proprietary yellow gold alloy. Significantly, the latter is used for the bezel, which features a laser-structured diving scale in positive relief, and a single dot of Super-LumiNova at 12 o’clock. It acts as an eye-catching juxtaposition to the laser-engraved dial in white ceramic with signature wave pattern.

Naturally, no proper tribute to the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad would be complete without commemorative touches—and Omega certainly didn’t skimp on these crucial details. The Paris 2024 typography, for example, is used for the date display at six o’clock, while the central seconds hand is adorned with the Paris 2024 emblem.
This attention to detail extends to the caseback, which has an inlayed 18K Moonshine Gold medallion, featuring the distinctive element of the Paris 2024 emblem, polished against a laser-ablated background. Completing the picture are the stamped words “Paris 2024” and the iconic Olympic Rings in polished stainless steel set against a frosted backdrop.

Although sold with a stainless-steel bracelet, Omega’s patented Quick Change System means it can be easily switched to a rubber strap in either blue, white or red—or even a commemorative Paris 2024 NATO strap. If you like what you see, it’s worth noting that this particular piece is only available from Omega boutiques in Paris. Not heading to the City of Light soon? Time to make nice with that bestie who is, we say.
