INTRODUCING: Louis Vuitton Escale Time-Only Collection

Celebrating a decade of impeccable travel-inspired fine watchmaking and artistry

The Escale collection may be renowned for its complicated timepieces, but as it celebrates its 10th anniversary, Louis Vuitton is going back to basics with a time-only, three-hand watch—a debut for this iteration in the series.

Yet, in true Maison style, what appears simple is anything but. Every detail, from the finely tapered hands to the meticulously designed straps, is a nod to the brand’s unparalleled craftsmanship, heritage and values.

The new 39mm Escale comes in four distinct variations. Two are crafted in rose gold, feautring a new dial texture that directly references the finely grained surface of the Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas.

The remaining two models are crafted in platinum. One showcases a mesmerising meteorite dial, while the other features an onyx central dial with a bezel and case adorned with baguette-cut diamonds. White-gold hands and markers create a striking monochromatic contrast.

A standout feature of the new Escale time-only watches is their intricate dial design, drawing inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s iconic trunks. This influence is evident in the lugs, reminiscent of the brass brackets and corners that reinforce the Maison’s most famous creation, as well as the minuterie adorned with gold studs, evoking the nails of the lozine that runs along the trunk’s exterior.

The movement is just as impressive. First introduced in the 2023 Tambour models, the Calibre LFT023 is the first proprietary automatic three-hand movement designed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in conjunction with movement specialists Le Cercle des Horlogers.

The chronometer-certified movement, with a 50-hour power reserve, is crafted with energy-efficient solutions, like a seconds hand in titanium rather than gold, and is decorated with motifs that pay homage to Louis Vuitton’s heritage.

So, here’s to a decade of the Escale— a journey where Louis Vuitton continues to push boundaries in horology, seamlessly blending the art of travel with the precision of timekeeping. Cheers to the next 10 years of innovation and elegance!
