Since its debut in 1959, the Longines Legend Diver has cemented its status as an emblem of both classic design and exceptional functionality. The latest iteration of this iconic timepiece continues to uphold its prestigious legacy while embracing cutting-edge advancements.
At the heart of the new Longines Legend Diver models lies the renowned Longines calibre L888.6. This exclusive self-winding mechanical movement is equipped with a silicon balance-spring, offering remarkable resistance to magnetic fields. With a robust power reserve of up to 72 hours, the calibre is chronometer-certified by the COSC, ensuring unparalleled precision and reliability.
Encased in a sleek 39mm stainless-steel round case, the Legend Diver is built to withstand the depths of the ocean, boasting a water resistance of up to 30 bar (300m) as per ISO 6425 standards.
The watch features a domed sapphire crystal with a black metal plating and multi-layer anti-reflective coating, enhancing readability underwater. Its internal bidirectional rotating dive bezel and screw-down case back, adorned with the diver symbol, underscore its commitment to diving excellence.
The new models come in three striking dial colours: green, terracotta, and anthracite grey. Each dial is polished and lacquered, with raised Arabic numerals and segmented indexes highlighted by Super-LumiNova for optimal visibility in low-light conditions. The rhodium-plated, polished arrow hands are also coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring they stand out against the dial for precise timekeeping.
Completing the timepiece is a stainless-steel bracelet equipped with a double-safety folding clasp and a micro-adjustment system, providing both security and comfort on the wrist.
