NEW: Longines HydroConquest
An everyday diver is refined with sharper lines, smarter mechanics and a new mesh option
Longines doesn’t do overstatement, and the 2026 HydroConquest is all the better for it. What’s new here isn’t a wholesale reinvention but a considered tightening of the formula: proportions, tactility and wearability all nudged in the right direction.
The collection now lands in 39mm and 42mm steel cases—arguably the sweet spot for a modern diver that needs to move easily between desk and deck.

The redesign leans cleaner, with applied indices and a more composed dial architecture, all treated with Super-LumiNova for low-light clarity. Dial options run from lacquered blue, black and green to a more contemporary frosted blue sunray that plays subtly with light rather than shouting for attention.

The bezel has been reworked too, borrowing its more precise, tactile action from the Ultra-Chron Diver. Ceramic inserts now come in five colours, including a vivid green and a brighter blue, while a lume pip at zero sharpens legibility when it matters.

With 300m water resistance and a screw-in crown, the fundamentals remain reassuringly serious.
Under the dial sits the Longines L888.5—an exclusive automatic calibre with a silicon balance spring and resistance to magnetic fields well beyond ISO standards. It is a quietly modern upgrade that makes sense in a world of phones, laptops and airport scanners, backed by a solid 72-hour power reserve.

Where things get interesting is on the wrist. Alongside the familiar H-link steel bracelet—with a useful micro-adjust clasp—Longines introduces a Milanese mesh option for the first time in the HydroConquest line. It’s a smart move: lighter, more breathable, and visually softer, it shifts the watch closer to that elusive everyday category the brand has long owned.

This is, ultimately, what Longines does best. The HydroConquest isn’t trying to out-dive the tool watches or outshine the luxury crowd. Instead, it refines the middle ground—competent, handsome, and now just a touch more considered.
