The independent watchmaker commemorates Sincere Fine Watches’ 70th anniversary with an exclusive 12-piece release
This special edition, featuring a 44mm red gold case and a sporty Nubuck strap, showcases Laurent Ferrier's technical prowess and finishing expertise while highlighting its enduring partnership with Sincere Fine Watches in meaningful ways.
A good example is the petrol green guilloché dial—a first for Laurent Ferrier’s Grand Sport Tourbillon collection. The unique teal shade and striking wave motif draw inspiration from the South China Sea, which borders Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia—countries where Sincere maintains a significant retail presence. Together, they symbolise vitality and resilience, reflecting Sincere’s 70-year legacy as well as future possibilities.
Legibility is a key focus for Laurent Ferrier, as evidenced by the use of white Super-LumiNova for the Assegai-shaped hands and drop-shaped indices, complementing the snailed small seconds display. Ruthenium-treated white gold hands and indices enhance contrast, creating a distinctive and elegant dial that honours Sincere’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Grand Sport case design is inspired by racing car aesthetics and crafted from 5N red gold. The cushion-shaped bezel features circular satin brushing, while the barrel-shaped middle case blends vertical satin brushing with mirror-polished sides. The caseback is engraved with “one of twelve,” underscoring the timepiece's exclusivity.
Laurent Ferrier’s Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit won the Best Tourbillon award at the 2023 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, and the Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition incorporates the award-winning LF 619.01 movement, which guarantees a power reserve exceeding 80 hours.
Featuring a long-blade ratchet pawl, this elegant calibre is renowned for its entirely hand-finished bassinage and its soft, melodious sound when winding. Enhanced with horizontal satin brushing and a ruthenium treatment, each component is meticulously hand-finished.
Notably, the tourbillon cage bridge showcases chamfered edges, bassinage, mirror polishing, and over 30 interior angles. This edition also features an engraving of Sincere’s 70th anniversary logo, visible through the sapphire caseback.
