NEW: Frederique Constant Highlife Chronograph Automatic
The flagship line marks 25 years with fresh spins on its 41mm sports model
When Frederique Constant’s Highlife collection first hit the scene in 1999, it was a game-changer with its integrated, interchangeable strap. Crucially, it was a nod to the finest traditions of Swiss watchmaking but at prices that didn’t break the bank. To celebrate its 25th anniversary this year, the Swiss watchmaking Manufacture is releasing two head-turners.

First up is the non-limited edition with a chic rose gold-plated case—making its debut in the collection—paired with a midnight blue dial and silver sub-dials. The details are pure class: hand-polished hands, alternating polished and satin finishes, and an optional blue suede strap with a crocodile pattern embossing alongside a rubber strap.

Then, there’s the limited edition of 1,888 pieces featuring an adventure-ready steel case and a unique combination of an opaline dial with fir green counters, along with three versatile straps: green suede, brushed polished steel, and rubber. Collectors might want to note that this is only the second limited-edition steel Highlife Chronograph Automatic in three years.

Both models are powered by the same reliable FC-391 calibre, driving a tricompax display and a date window between four and five o’clock. This movement, already loved in the existing Highlife Chronograph Automatics, boasts a 60-hour power reserve. Peek through the sapphire crystal caseback to see the Côtes de Genève decoration in all its glory. Housed in a 41mm case, these beauties are water-resistant up to 10 ATM, ready for any escapade.
