INTRODUCING: Bvlgari Aluminium GMT
Bvlgari's light and practical jet-setting companion.
With our current state of static, it is hard on one hand to think about travelling beyond our state's borders, let alone crossing the time zones. But the possibility that we just might excites us enough to plan for when travel eventually resumes. To help keep things in perspective, we need to be practical when travelling across different time zones and that is where GMT watches come into play.

A GMT complication has always been a popular choice for its functionality, and it helps when it looks as good as the new Bvlgari Aluminium GMT. We last saw the Bvlgari Aluminium in the late 90s, where the said material found its way into serious watchmaking. The addition to the current evolution of the Bvlgari Aluminium family comes in the form of the GMT with minor updates but still firmly rooted in the futuristic style of the late 90s.

The lightweight metal gives the Aluminium GMT a solid air of modernity, especially with the whiteness of the aluminium contrasting the wide dark blue rubber bezel embossed with BVLGARI BVLGARI. The main dial is in a matching dark blue and decorated with Super-LumiNova hour indices and hands. On its outer flange is the 24-hour GMT chapter ring, which has 12 hours in red to indicate the daytime, 12 hours in dark blue to indicate the night, and a Super-LumiNova-coated red triangle as the second-time zone indicator. The practical layout of the dial with its clear indices and hands have made the time easy to read not only in broad daylight but also under challenging light conditions. Versatile enough for casual weekdays, the watch is also perfect for those sporty weekends.

The Bvlgari Aluminium GMT is driven by an automatic manufacture movement, Calibre B192, with a 42-hour power reserve, and is housed in a 40mm aluminium case with a titanium caseback. Thanks to the combination of the two ultra-light metals, it's a comfortable watch to wear all day and night, in either dark blue rubber strap or aluminium link bracelet.

Travel restrictions may be still in place for now, but once the borders reopen, our trusty GMTs will once again take pride of place on wrists around the globe.
