NEW: Piaget Andy Warhol Clou de Paris

Preserving the legacy of a cultural icon while celebrating the enduring appeal of an unforgettable timepiece

In the world of iconic watches, few timepieces have as compelling a backstory as Piaget’s Andy Warhol Clou de Paris watch.

Originally launched in 1972 and produced for less than a decade, the watch made a splash with its daring 45mm cushion-shaped case and its bold Beta21 quartz movement, quickly gaining status among collectors.

Andy Warhol, the legendary pop artist and friend of the Maison, owned no fewer than seven Piaget watches—but it was this bold, era-defining model, now reimagined as the Andy Warhol watch, that became his signature.

In a nod to its famed namesake, Piaget recently partnered with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to reintroduce this icon with a contemporary twist.

The new Andy Warhol Clou de Paris watch features Piaget’s signature Clou de Paris finish, a textured guilloché pattern that adds a jewellery-like charm to the cushion case, making the design feel both refreshed and timeless.

Piaget’s artisans spent nearly 10 months perfecting this delicate motif on the curved white gold surface, ensuring the decoration reflected the play of light and layers reminiscent of the original gadroons.

Adding to the mystique, the watch’s dial is crafted from blue meteorite, an unusual material choice that’s both a visual treat and a tribute to Piaget’s legacy of using striking ornamental stones. Paired with dauphine-style hands and elegant indexes, this dial radiates vintage character with a modern edge.

Powered by the in-house 501P1 self-winding movement, the Andy Warhol Clou de Paris watch exemplifies Piaget’s flair for combining high jewellery with serious horology.

To further celebrate the spirit of Warhol, Piaget has expanded its Made to Order personalisation service, allowing collectors to make their Andy Warhol watch truly one-of-a-kind.

From a range of exotic stone dials—including the eye-catching falcon eye and turquoise—to customisable straps and case options in rose or white gold, the options offer endless ways to honour Warhol’s creative ethos.
