To commemorate Sincere Fine Watches’ 70th anniversary, Lang & Heyne presents the Friedrich III Remontoir Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, a limited release of just seven pieces. This collaboration highlights a long-standing partnership that was notably showcased with the inaugural SHH Editions at Sincere’s SHH boutique opening in Singapore in 2022.
The Dresden-based watchmaker is celebrated for its masterful craftsmanship and use of the finest materials. Each timepiece reflects its commitment to exceptional artistry and precision, evident in every component from movement parts to the finished case. The Friedrich III Remontoir Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition exemplifies these qualities with its distinctive design features.
This edition stands apart with its unique dial, drawn from the 2022 Lang & Heyne Georg SHH Edition, incorporating similar materials and finishes but with a refined three-part concept.
The ceramic dial is adorned with a sand-blasted royal blue solid silver plate at the centre. The contrast between the frosted blue centre and the smooth white ceramic edges, along with the delicately chamfered seconds sub-dial, creates a striking multi-dimensional effect.
The Calibre VI-I movement is a testament to Lang & Heyne’s dedication to precision. It includes an elegant trigonal bridge that reveals the meticulously crafted gear train beneath. Each component of the movement is finely finished and hand-engraved, with the baseplate inscribed ‘One of 7’ to highlight its exclusivity. The open caseback features the ‘Sincere 70th Anniversary’ logo engraved on the sapphire glass, complemented by a beautifully etched balance cock pattern.
The Remontoir complication, positioned next to the escape wheel, ensures smooth and consistent power transfer. It utilises an intermediate spring that regulates energy flow, enhancing timekeeping precision and creating a visually appealing jumping seconds display.
Completing the timepiece is a dark blue Alligator Mississippiensis leather strap, known for its durability and flexibility, paired with an 18-carat white gold case and pin buckle. This combination underscores the timepiece’s prestige and Lang & Heyne’s commitment to timeless elegance and functionality.
