Introducing: Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Paris 2024
Dive into the countdown towards the Greatest Games on Earth
It’s merely days away from the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris as the top athletes from around the world converge into the beautiful city to participate in the games to show off their best! And Omega once again the Official Timekeeper will be there to record all the timings and distances of the games to help the judge to determine winners of each game, thus making it the most important proponent of the Games itself apart from the athletes and the host of course.
To commemorate the auspicious occasion, Omega has launched the Seamaster Diver 300M Paris 2024 as one of the two special timepieces to celebrate the occasion. As we all know, the watch is nothing new as it was first launched in 1993, and we have seen numerous iterations. But we ain’t seen anything yet, as the latest variant for the Paris Olympics continues to wow the fans and the press alike with its new aesthetics.
The Seamaster Diver 300M Paris 2024 has refreshed aesthetics, it has a brushed stainless steel case with a unidirectional dodecagonal bezel with chamfered sides that make it look robust and handsome, and with a touch of elegance, it has a textured finished Moonshine Gold with the 60 minutes scale insert. It gives the timepiece a touch of luxury to a sporty timepiece and frames the laser-engraved relieved wave-patterned matte and polished white ceramic dial. The hands and indexes are in gold filled with white SuperLuminova, and this is repeated on the skeleton sword hours, minutes and second hands. A small unique touch is added in the form of the date in Arabic numerals with Paris Olympic 2024 typography to complete the aesthetics of this special edition.
The commemorative piece is powered by one of the company’s crown jewels, the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800, certified by the METAS, the industry’s most stringent test for precision and performance, especially impressive are the accuracy and the anti-magnetism. The Calibre 8800 sets it apart from the 1993 models, as technology has improved, and Omega has always been keeping up one step or two ahead of the industry.
This rather suave commemorative edition comes with a triple-link stainless steel bracelet finished in matte and gloss pinstripes. For easy swap, it comes with the new patented Quick Change System, in case you want to switch to a blue, white or red rubber strap or a dedicated Paris 2024 NATO strap. To complete the case back is embossed with the word “Paris 2024” and the five rings of the Olympics with a laser-ablated background and a Moonshine Gold medallion featuring the Paris Olympic emblem.
This is one handsome and elegant commemorative sports watch you wouldn’t want to miss, as it bears the hallmark of one of the best from Omega.
