A new measuring instrument for athletes
Ever since 2005, Bell & Ross has been demonstrating how inspired they are by all things aviation with their trend-setting and captivating BR 01. The timepiece was inspired by the instrument gauges found in the cockpit of modern jet planes and fighters - awesome for those who grew up with the dream of flying one, or just being a passenger one day. Over the years, Bell & Ross has illustrated numerous versions of the cockpit fixtures and, once in a while, something simply fantastic is born.
If you are a fan of the BR Flight Instruments series, you are in a for a real treat. Bell & Ross have just unveiled their latest addition to the family, the BR 03-94 Multimeter. A unique ‘instrument’ that measures time in very different aspects.
The Multimeter is an instrument that measures something a lot closer to Earth and far more grounded - it is an instrument that measures several different functions for athletes. Apart from its hour, minute and chronograph hands, it also has five other timing functions: the pulsometer that reads the number of heartbeats, the asthmometer that reads the number of aspirations and three tachometers – Tachymeter 01 for driving, Tachymeter 02 for cycling and Tachymeter 03 for running. Each of these scales is assigned with their designated colour- red for heart, blue for asthmometer, white for tachymeter for 01, green for tachymeter 02, and grey for tachymeter 03.
The reading of each of them is via the central chronograph hand, and depending on which of the five functions you want to read from the scale, they are arranged in five coloured concentric chapter rings to guide you.
The central hours, minutes and chronograph seconds hands are coated with Super-LumiNova for ease of reading the time, while the two floating sub-dials for the continuous seconds at three o’clock and the minute totaliser at nine o’clock complete the regular functions.
The entire BR 03-94 Multimeter timepiece is encased in chic and dynamic all-black ceramic, which exudes a strong vibe, while the automatic calibre BR.CAL.301 powers the handsome timepiece.

If you are not, but you like something cool and unusual that catches attention subtly, then this timepiece will suit you just as well.
